13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.The best thing anyone facing trouble can do is pray. You don't have to know how for it to benefit you, just pour out your heart to God and discuss the situation fully with Him, and spend an extended time waiting on God. (Of course, as you learn more about what the Bible teaches on prayer, you can pray more accurately and effectively.)
Time spent drawing near to the Lord and quieting yourself to better hear His direction is a wise decision and will pay big dividends.
God will hear you if you call on Him. However, we are glad to pray for you, also. We have members who really walk in faith and know how to get prayers answered.
